Mother's Day Gift Guide

So this year my friends and I took our Mother's Day gift into our own hands. We booked ourselves massages at a spa in the city and made dinner reservations. That's what I like for Mother's Day - pampering. I based my gift guide on things I have and love or things I want. I might just need to send this to Scott!

Maya Brenner Initial Necklace - I have a necklace just like this from a little store in NYC and I wear it everyday. I love that you can add initials if you have more kids. A perfect everyday necklace.

Everything is Mama - Because isn't everything mama? My kids gave me this book last year for Mother's Day and I laugh everytime I read it because it's so true. I think I hear mama called through our house at least a thousand times a day.

Pajamas - I especially love these Eberjey ones (hint hint, Scott). I think nice pajamas are such a luxury and hardly something moms buy for themselves.

Patchology eye masks - I first learned about these eye masks from the blog Mother Untitled and am so happy I found them. Scott and I both are obsessed! Lol. Sunday night is eye mask night in our house. A small luxury that removes some of those dark circles and bags.

Candle - I LOVE candles! Honestly, I can never have enough. Scott brought me back this Frette one recently from London and I'm obsessed. It's my current favorite.

Birdling Bag - I am obsessed with any and all Birdling bags. I learned about them from a friend and currently have two bags and I want more. I have the Weekender (which is great for weekend trips) and the Day Tripper (which I used on the flight to Disney and plan on using as my beach/pool bag this summer). They're so well made and since they're mamas too they've thought of everything. The Day Tripper has a bottom that unzips to let out sand and an insulated pocket inside to keep food cool - I told you - thought of everything.

Photo mug - Scott made me a mug from Shutterfly last year for Mother's Day. It's my absolute favorite mug to use. Each time I look at the pictures I'm reminded of how small my little guys were and how fast time is flying! Definitely helps me appreciate the time I have with the kids even when they're screaming over breakfast and it's only 7am.

Photo block from Artifact Uprising - I made this for Scott last year for Father's Day with photos from Instagram. It sits on his desk at work and he can rotate the picture he wants in front. A great gift for anyone but especially someone with an office or who sits at a desk everyday.

Gift certificate for mani/pedi/massage/facial - You can never go wrong giving mama a gift certificate for some pampering. Trust me.

So that's my list for this year. I'm hoping I get those pjs and maybe another Birdling. Though I doubt Scott reads my blog posts! lol
