With Easter baskets I tend to fill them mostly with things they will need for the spring and summer and then add in some special treats.
1. Summer gear
I love the Boden swimsuits for Penny with their bright colors and the Vineyard Vines ones fit Luke really well. I like to throw in Natives (which my kids live in every summer) as well as some sunglasses. I ordered these ones for Penny already.
2. Easter themed
I love to throw in some Easter themed things. I ordered Luke this Easter Lego set and this Plus Plus set. Egg shaped chalk is fun for the spring. I also ordered them both these bunny bath bombs. This Maileg bunny is too cute. I bought Penny the Valentine's set from The Dough Project and think I may get her this Easter one as well.
3. Small toys
Then I just add in some things they'll enjoy that fit into the baskets.
Sleeping Queens and Uno are some of our favorite card games.
These Melissa and Doug crayons are great for little hands in an indestructible case.
This paper airplane book is a favorite of my kids.
Penny currently loves these Twisty Petz.
I love to put small books in there too like Who Would Win or little board books (this is still a fave).
Easter Themed Activities
This Kid Made Modern set keeps Penny busy for hours.
We've had this egg painting kit in years past and the kids love it.
This has always looked so fun and I finally ordered it.
How cute is this bunny waffle maker? I think I need this too.
Easter Pajamas
I bought my kids matching Petite Plume gingham pajamas, which don't exactly scream Easter but are the perfect excuse to buy them. And I did get Penny the bunny sleep mask.
Hanna Andersson makes some of my favorite pajamas because I feel like they last forever and I pass them down from Luke to Penny. These are too cute for Easter.
This floral bunny pajama set and Star Wars theme bunny set from Gap are good options too.
Our favorite Easter/bunny picture books:
Happy Easter!
